Calcium hypochlorite

Calcium hypochlorite is an inorganic compound with formula Ca(ClO)2. It is a white solid, although commercial samples appear yellow. It strongly smells of chlorine, owing to its slow decomposition in moist air. This compound is relatively stable as a solid and solution and has greater available chlorine than sodium hypochlorite. The "Sodium Process" product has more than 70% active chlorine. Given common industrial purity, an active chlorine content of 65-70% is typical. It is the main active ingredient of commercial products called bleaching powder, used for water treatment and as a bleaching agent.

Through our domestic first-class equipment and advanced production technology.Based on the "high starting point, high technology, high quality, high efficiency" policy, we have built 2 domestic calcium-sodium combined production lines. After the digestion and absorption of the introduced technology, our calcium hypochlorite now adopts the method of three-step chlorination - mother liquor cycle - efficient salt separation. Through this method, the effective chlorine content of our sodium-process calcium hypochlorite can reach more than 70%, and has the advantages of strong stability, low moisture and high solubility.
